Rob is a serial entrepreneur with a track record of seeking out successful start-up market opportunities. His last four ventures were executive Sales, Marketing and General Manager level positions at start-ups including Alteon WebSystems (IPO & then acquired by Nortel for $7.8B), Peribit Networks (acquired by Juniper for $337M), Riverbed (IPO and then taken private for $3.6B by Thoma Bravo) and most recently Ruckus Wireless (IPO & then acquired by Brocade for $1.5B). Rob has extensive global experience in creating successful go-to-market plans, hiring great teams, building channels and generating revenue from zero to hundreds of millions of dollars. Rob is a UK national who moved to Silicon Valley back in 2006.
Rob has a degree in Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Bristol (United Kingdom). He likes planes, rugby & spaceships, but not necessarily in that order.
Stan is responsible for building and running the development team that is bringing the ClusterGX™ platform to market. Stan has extensive experience of working on large and ultra-large scale computer systems from his time as an early member of the Java development team at Sun Microsystems and subsequently doing research at Stanford University and then with the Los Alamos National Lab where he was named a Director’s Fellow. Stan also has a successful track record with start-ups including Ingrian Networks (acquired by SafeNet) and Aspect Labs, a security company he co-founded affiliated to the Federal government. Most recently Stan co-founded Cloudessa, a cloud based security company which was acquired by UK based Global Reach.
Stan has a Masters Degree in Physics from Kharkiv University and a PhD from the Max Planck Institute. Stan loves Flash Gordon and Buck Rogers…and hopes to meet them some day.
